“Let’s get our train wreck on!”
Sam says last night right before we watch this season’s premier of The Bachelor. I love him. AND I love this show. Because, yes, it is a total train wreck, and tonight’s episode (originally aired on Monday), did not disappoint! There was so much crying from that one blogger girl, Jenna. Then the weird tension between Blakely and Monica. And Ben kept them! I guess he enjoys girls making out as much as any other “average” guy. There are a few girls that actually seem normal and among them, one that Sam and I already agree will be in the final few: Kasey B. from Clarkesville Tennessee with only 3 tattoos and a very sweet personality.
I also like Rachel,
but it seems like Ben is more into brunettes and unfortunately, the only other really normal and attractive brunette left is Jaime.
Who, I think might be TOO mature for Ben, considering she gained custody of her siblings at the age of 18 and raised them. We’ll see.
The best part of the show is the preview of things to come on this season. There was no promise of exuberant happiness, let alone true love, at the end. Just weird creepy music that ended leaving you feeling a little lost. What I loved was all the crying, or as Sam noted “that was 90% crying”, shown. Everyone is melting down…all the time, it seems! Between that, the physical violence that might go down between Monica and Jenna, along with the question over Monica’s real reason for being there (Duh! Her lesbian genius led her to the place where tons of desperate, attractive women are being rejected by men…THE BACHELOR!), this might as well be the Jerry Springer Show!
Sam and I wouldn’t have it any other way! He has no idea how much it means to me that he not only watches it with me, but it proud to say that he enjoys the experience. I love you, Sam and am so glad I didn’t have to go on this show to find you!
Until next Monday…
