I’m on Christmas Crack: Days 17 + 18

Day 17: I had the most productive/fun Saturday in a long time.  I woke up and Sam helped me clean our entire house…top to bottom!  It feels great!  All that’s left are the ceiling fan blades and my desk.  Whichhhhh, since I have off work (beginning Tuesday) for a month, I have plenty of time to do!  After cleaning, we had some of the kids that we teach in Sunday School over to watch Horton Hears a Who and eat cookies and have hot cocoa.  Kids are so stinkin cute when they laugh (even if they have to fake laugh) so loudly and often, during a movie. You could tell they wanted us to know they were having a great time :)  Then we ended the night with our newly engaged friends Jim and Emily and Vietnamese food.  Lovely beginning to the week of Christmas!!!!!!!

Day 18:  My brother Ian is back from college for the holidays and so I get to hang out with him a whole bunch since I won’t be working…starting TONIGHT!  I might even force him to help me with my thesis model (which does need to be finished by the end of break) and we will bond in the midst of wood glue and sawdust!!! MERRIMENT had by all.
