Tis the reason for the season!

As much as I’m a fool for a Rothko or DeKooning and their abstract modern cohorts, I’m also a huge fan of really old religious art.  Not just Christian art either.  I love Hindu and Islamic art especially, as they are full of color and symbolism.  But, since I’m a Christian, celebrating Christmas, what better time to bust out some nativity paintings than now?Nativity and Adoration of Shepherds, Bartolo di Fredi
